Year-3 Annual Reporting

June 19, 2020 - Year 3 report submitted to NSF.

May 20, 2020 - Items still needed for the report narrative:

1. Need to address what we stated in our response to the RSV recommendations. Walter has provided input for Aquatic. Need Plant, Soil, Synthesis, partnerships, and update on Haskell Hire (Josh's PhD progress). One paragraph each.
   
2. Update on partnerships, NRCS, Bayer, Indigo Ag (Chuck), federally recognized tribes in KS (Jay and Cody). This is also part of the recommendations in #1 above.
   
3. COVID-19 mitigation plan for MAPS (Peggy has submitted, need MAPS and HERS).
4. Description of leveraging other NSF program (other NSF awards that contribute/leverage MAPS like LSAMP, REU programs, KEEP, LTER).
5. Status of review paper from collaborative Microbiome course.
6. Identify activities/milestones in strategic plan tables that are not completed or behind schedule. Need to update tables to reflect moving milestones into future years and ultimately into Year 6.

Due to circumstances related to COVID-19, the deadline to finish entering reporting data into Piestar is extended to April 15, 2020. This includes data about participants (including demographics), collaborators and collaborating organizations; scholarly output such as publications, presentations, other research outputs (like data sets, websites, etc.) and proposals and awards; and outreach activities and other relevant accomplishments.

The narrative portion of the report needs to be generated during the month of April.
