Yesterday at the MT meeting we discussed many things about planning the symposium. I summarized most of them into a table here. The table is a work plan with timeline and responsible parties. I’ll continue updating it as ideas come and go, tasks get completed, the agenda gets formulated, etc. Please look at it and see if there are items where your help is needed. Feel free to add comments or notes directly in the doc.
Included in the document is the list of First Awardees to consider for presenting, and last year’s agenda to see what sessions we had, including the lightning talks.

The 2021 Kansas NSF EPSCoR/MAPS Annual Research Symposium will be held virtually (over Zoom) on March 8-9, 2021. Exact times and content of the virtual sessions are still being worked out but please plan on 2 to 2.5 hour sessions beginning the afternoon of Monday, March 8 and the morning and afternoon of Tuesday, March 9. Please keep these times on your calendar. More details will soon follow.
These sessions will include updates from the MAPS team’s research, education and workforce development initiatives as well as lightning talks from students and faculty members.
